Electrical Engineering Department in the College of Engineering and Islamic Architecture at Umm Al-Qura University, Makkah Al-Mukarramah, is actively involved in assessing, evaluating, and enhancing students’ outcomes of its Program. It is evident by the fact that Ministry of Higher Education, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has awarded a project on “Outcomes Assessment and Quality Assurance” to the research faculty of Electrical Engineering Program. The researchers working on this project will develop and implement Outcomes Assessment and Evaluation Processes for continuous enhancement of students’ professional skills of team-work and communication. As an integral part of this project, Electrical Engineering Department is planning to hold a workshop on Assessment and Evaluation Processes for Engineering faculty. This workshop will be conducted by an International expert who has a vast experience in the development of these processes that satisfy International accreditation Criteria. His Excellency, the Rector of Umm Al-Qura University, Makkah Al-Mukarramah, has graciously agreed to patronize this workshop to be held at Electrical Engineering Department, College of Engineering and Islamic Architecture, Umm Al-Qura University, Makkah Al-Mukarramah on December 2-8, 2010 (Dul-Hijjah 28, 1431AH – Muharram 2, 1432 AH).
Due to limited availability of seats we are inviting the engineering faculty to apply to attend this workshop.
